Ah, the Daleks. They are the biggest enemy of the Doctor, and almost caused the destruction of every Time Lord and Lady, not to mention how many times they almost wiped out the entire universe of any creature that wasn't them.
The word exterminate never sounds as scary as it does when it's being said by one of the mutations created by Davros, the ultimate mad scientist.
When it comes to a Dalek costume, you have a lot of choices. There are officially licensed outfits for men, women, and children, as well as amazing custom made designs. If that wasn't enough, I've also found a variety of items that you can add-on to your look.

Costume For Women
The shape of Daleks lend themselves beautifully to women's dresses, so it should come as no surprise that there is a Dalek dress for women. The dress is gold, fitted at the waist, and flares out in the skirt. The skirt, of course, has designs of little gold balls on it, just like an actual Dalek has. You can add some gold shoes to the costume to complete the look.
Costume For Men
There is also an official costume for men. Unlike the women's dress, this outfit covers men from head to floor. I've seen this costume in both gold and black, though it is possible that there might be other colors, too. I have found that it is difficult to find on Amazon, so eBay is the place where you are most likely to find this.
Costume For Kids
Mom and Dad aren't the only ones who can dress up as their favorite Who villain, kids can, too! I've seen them in gold, red, and blue, but there might be other colors. Some costumes even talk. If you can't find this on Amazon then be sure to click the eBay link.

There are many sellers on Etsy who are offering custom made Dalek costumes, which are perfect for Cosplay. Some costumes are for children, like the pink dress you see on the left, while others are for adults, like the red hooded dress you see on the right.

Headband
I just love the creativity of people! Dalek headbands are a perfect example of what I mean. When you click the link to go to Etsy you will see a wonderful selection of handmade headbands that were all inspired by Daleks.
Beanie
Keep your head warm with a beanie that includes an eyestalk and the ears/speakers (technically these lights are called luminosity dischargers). Some are officially licensed, while others are hand made, and they come in a variety of colors.

Arm Warmers
There are arm warmers that match the officially licensed beanies, and the two look great together. I also found a nice selection of handmade arm warmers (sometimes referred to as fingerless gloves or mittens).

Apron
You will find aprons that are suitable for cooking in the kitchen, but some of them are amazing enough that you could wear them as costumes.
Flashlight
This is an adorable flashlight (or torch, as it's known outside the USA)! It is in the shape of a Dalek's eye, the one on top of it's head, and can be used when trick-or-treating for Halloween, or as your regular flashlight. It even has five different sayings, including, "You are the Doctor. You must be exterminated."
Helmet
This is an amazingly life-like helmet that turns anyone into a Dalek! Not only does this cover your entire head (don't worry, you can see when wearing it thanks to well-hidden eye openings), it also has the ability to change your voice so you sound like a Dalek! The helmet goes in and out of stock on Amazon so eBay might be the best place to find this.
Dalek Sec Mask
Sec started out as a bad guy, er, Dalek, but eventually he transformed into a human/Dalek hybrid. It was in this state that Sec was able to feel emotions other than hate and rage, and he realized the potential for more hybrids like him. He and the Doctor worked to make that happen, but, alas, the other Daleks viewed him as a heretic and destroyed him.
There is an officially licensed mask of Sec that is similar to the helmet. It covers your face completely (while allowing you to see out of eye openings) and it has a voice changer so you sound like Sec.
