Food preparation is made fun when you use any of the wooden Game of Thrones cutting boards!
Wood has long been recognized as a great surface to use for cutting fruits, vegetables, and meats because it doesn't dull knives the way glass boards do. They also do a great job if you want to use them as cheese boards. And if you are a fan of George R.R. Martin's series then you are in luck because there are a lot of different styles for you to choose from.
The board you see here is just one design. I happen to love this one because it says Dinner Is Coming, which we all know is a play on the motto for House Stark, which is Winter Is Coming. But there are far more designs than for House Stark.
At the time that I wrote this post there were wooden cutting boards with images or sayings for Tyrion Lannister (I am the god of tits and wine), The Mother of Dragons (Daenerys Targaryen), House Greyjoy, Jon Snow, House Baratheon, the Night's Watch (men of the Wall), and more. There were even a couple of boards that would make great Christmas presents because they said Christmas Is Coming and added a Santa hat to the creature shown.
As for shape, you are not limited to a rectangle. In addition to traditional rectangular boards I saw round ones, pear shaped ones, as well as boards that were shaped like clouds. You can even get many of them personalized. No matter which house you support, you are sure to find the perfect cutting board for your kitchen!
