Cupcake made from the TARDIS mold

There is no need to travel across space and time to bring a bit of Doctor Who to your kitchen. All you need is this TARDIS cake mold!

This mold is made of silicone which has several advantages. First, the mold is flexible so you can easily get gelatin out of the mold. Second, it will withstand temperatures between -40°F and 450°F so you can use it in the freezer or the oven. Third, you can wash it by hand or in the dishwasher.

There are two parts to the mold - the front and back of the TARDIS. It is the perfect size for one regular sized box of gelatin (each half will hold up to one cup) or for making TARDIS cupcakes that are about 3 inches tall. All you need to do is put frosting between both parts to hold the mini cakes together.

Some people don't like baking with silicone because they aren't able to remove cakes from them without the cakes falling apart. This only happens when you don't know how to properly cook in silicone. You can have perfect cakes every time by following one simple step. Brush a small amount of canola oil inside the mold. Canola oil is best because it doesn't change the flavor of whatever you cook in the mold, nor does it change the consistency of batter.

If you want to get really creative you can make chocolate Daleks with the TARDIS and Dalek mold, so that you can have both TARDIS and Dalek treats. Or, if you are crafty, you can use this mold to make time traveling soap. It doesn't really matter how you use this because it will hold up to years of use.
