Not long after we were introduced to Strider we found out that he was actually Aragorn, and that he was hopelessly in love with Arwen, the daughter of Elrond, the ruler of Rivendell.
Aragorn had been raised since childhood by Elrond, but it seems that he didn't fall in love with Arwen until he was a man. Elrond wasn't fond of the pairing since marrying Aragorn would make her mortal, but the day came when Arwen took her fate into her own hands and chose Aragorn.
Westland made the Arwen and Aragorn salt and pepper shakers to honor their wedding day. It shows them as they kissed for the first time as husband and wife, and is beautifully painted and highly detailed.
Arwen's gown shows the lace that adorned it, and the elegant crown that she wore. Aragorn is seen in his king's clothing, robe, and crown. A magnet keeps the couple in the position that you see here.
