Gandalf looked like a kindly, if mischievous, old man with an affinity for fireworks, but he was so much more, as Bilbo Baggins and his nephew Frodo would learn. He was a wizard of great strength and a very cunning mind.
If it wasn't for Gandalf, neither Baggins Hobbit would have learned the joys (and terrors!) of traveling outside the Shire, and Middle Earth might have been lost forever to darkness and evil. But Gandalf did encourage them both out of their comfort zones and Middle Earth was saved.
But what if, instead of adventure, Bilbo or Frodo fancied a batch of homemade cookies? They'd keep them safe inside this Gandalf cookie jar, of course!
It is made of heavy ceramic and beautifully painted with vivid colors. It shows Gandalf the Grey in his traveling cloak and hat, along with his wooden staff. The bottom says, "Lord of the Rings," to show that this is how the wizard looked in the LOTR film trilogy.
