This morning I came across an awesome video that never made it into Doctor Who. It is an outtake from the two-part episode called "Flesh and Stone" and "The Vampires in Venice". It shows the moment when Amy Pond realized that she wasn't the first companion the Doctor invited to travel through space and time, nor was she the first hottie.
Everything about this video is great, but my favorite part is when the Doctor explains that he just wants people to travel with him, but he clarifies that he doesn't want a mate. That came from his misunderstanding with Donna Noble who thought he wanted to mate, not a mate.
And, it turns out that the Doctor considers himself a space Gandalf... <*giggle*>
